Agate; the pear-shaped body with a tall neck surmounted by a lipped rim with a wide mouth, supported on a neatly carved foot rim of oval section with rounded edges, the shoulders carved with mask and ring handles, the body suffused with parallel bands of differing colour encircling the lower part and the shoulders, very well hollowed, attributed to the Beijing Palace workshops.
