Glass, of elegant form, pale green ground with red and blue overlay on each of the four sides carved with prunus, bamboo, chrysanthemum and lilies.

Fossiliferous limestone, of small size, with starburst markings.

Agate, well hollowed with natural dendritic crystalline markings in ochre, red and brown with white and cream bandings, the markings are like fireworks exploding in the air, sitting on a raised footrim.

Copper and gold in the form of an eggplant; the calyx and one leaf in oxidised copper with gilt detail to make it look realistic; an almond shaped foot and the inner neck with a clockwise screw thread. Probably Imperial, attributed to the Palace Workshops, 1720-1800

Porcelain, of bulbous ovoid shape, enamelled with a pink scaly dragon in flight amongst scattered blue and pink clouds, on a lime green ground, the base with a four-character mark of the Daoguang Emperor.

Green porcelain moulded with gourds and vines, three of the descending gourds form a tripod foot.

Glass of aubergine vase form, with wide shoulders tapering towards an exceedingly narrow foot. Recently excavated from Beijing.

Fossiliferous limestone of deep grey colour with a central creamy swirl reminisant of a shell, the pattern fills the rounded shape of the bottle.

Jadeite of flattened rectangular form, pale green stone well carved on each side in Moghul style with litus sprays enveloped by curled stems and leaves with design repeated on the narrow sides, the base carved in the shape of a stylised crysthanthumum. 

Metal, covered in white enamel and painted in famille rose enamels with a flowering bush on each side and neck with pendant acanthus leaves and rockwork at base. Guangzhou 18th century.

Agate so called ‘macaroni’ agate of pale gray with ochre areas, the bottle well hollowed on a round foot.

Glass, translucent green of rectangular form, with raised panels on each side, carved from a block of glass.

Porcelain, moulded in the form of Liu Hai dangling a string of cash to as rather grumpy looking toad. The toad is 3 legged and Liu Hai is depicted with one foot on the mythelogical 3 legged toad and holding a ribbon with 5 gold coins attached to it. Liu Hai was a Minister of State in the 10th Century.

Porcelain, moulded in relief and enamelled in famille rose enamels with a figure astride a large fo dog and a figure in front of him riding an elephant, the reverse with a figure pushing an empty chariot with two other characters, one with an offering the other on a large Fo dog, on the base a Qianlong nianzhi four character mark.

Glass, milk white glass of flattened ovoid shape printed in bright tones with a cluster of daisies and leaves, with a pierced rock and hovering butterfly, the reverse with pink peonies and rocks, the shoulders with an elaborate stylised petal collar, the neck with a pink classic scroll studded with florettes, the base with a two-character mark of Qianlong Emperor. By Wang Xisan, 1958-1962.

Glass, rich transparent green carved from a glass block with two chilongs carved on each side with tails curling under to form the footrim. Painted on the inside with two horses grazing under a tree and on other side two horses under an inscription, painted by Ye Zhongsan. 

Glass opaque light pink glass with greenish turquoise overlay carved in low relief with chi dragons curled around the body, the tails meeting to form base of bottle. Palace Workshops Beijing. Rare colour combination.

Glass, unusual pale turquoise green with black overlay carved with trigrams surrounding a yin yang symbol, the base with black overlay as a footrim.
