Description

Porcelain; of baluster shape, enamelled in famille-rose colours with a magpie perched on a flowering branch, a second magpie on the reverse, swooping downwards Jingdezhen kilns.

A magpie on a plum tree symbolises the arrival of spring and rejuvenation in old age.
